I'm surprised we didn't have this feature sooner. I was also wondering if anyone would maybe find it useful to be able to lock their own threads without having to ask a moderator to do it (especially if they make a few threads each day in a busy place like the lounge and have no intention to bump them the next day). I don't see myself using it since I almost never make new threads, but maybe other users would use it? That even goes for the users with the lower statuses who can only make two threads a day.
It's just a suggestion. I'm not saying this absolutely has to happen.
