Thread Topic: Note about thread locking, pinning, and moving
-
All threads older than 60 days have been locked by the server automatically. If you need a thread unlocked, please contact a moderator to do that for you and mention the reason why you need it unlocked.
Each forum can have up to two pinned threads. If you think there is a thread that should be pinned, please let one of us know so we can review the thread to pin it.
We can additionally now move threads posted in the wrong forum. If you posted a thread in the wrong forum, please let us know so we can move it to the correct forum for you. :) -
this makes me sad :(
-
Thank you :)

Thank you, GTQ Guy for implementing this feature. I guess this'd stop trolls from bumping old threads and making it annoying for common users like us.
-
By threads older than 60 days you mean threads that have not been posted in for 60 days, correct?
If so, I'm glad we have this feature now. Now we won't have to worry about trolls or the occasional unknowing new member bumping old threads. -
Icee- i think it is active and inactive but they still get locked. I also think u can ask for a thread to be locked. Might do that actually.
-
^Nope. I bet only inactive threads (=threads which has the last post posted before 60 days) are locked. If what you said was true, my Palace thread would have been locked.
-
Yeah, I checked and my official thread isn't locked. (And that thread was created February 2013.)
-
Wow, I guess it has been a while since I posted. I've always thought pinned threads was necessary.
This thread is locked, therefore no new posts can be made.
