also, just a friendly reminder that the moderators were chosen by the people. we're mods because people like us and think we'd do a good job. gtq guy didn't just cherrypick users he liked, he looked at the users that were suggested by regular users and went from there. so obviously we must be doing something right if the only person who's complaining is you

I would prefer if I recommended them if we could actually replace you people.
We need another election and replace the mods. If this doesn't happen, the world is doomed. Obviously an exaggeration, but I want a new experience with new people. It's the same old thing and same old predictable people. It's not just because I disfavored taste of our current moderators. -
We could definitely use a few more, or dismiss the ones who are inactive and replace them with new ones?
It is a fair point that the spam sometimes can get overwhelming. But the mods we have now are perfectly fine and are trying their best.
You only want to replace them because they call you out on your s---. -

GTQ Guy has given us expressed permission to delete accounts that are mostly used for spam. Which means that we can and will delete those accounts' conversational posts as well. Just because you stop spamming for one day to make friendly comments doesn't mean that account is innocent.
When TheRealMiniMe brought up the Lanshire/Yorkshire account issue, we decided we'll try again to delete them. And that means deleting all accounts that have been used to spam as well.

"Regarding troll accounts, once you have marked their posts offensive, they will be blocked from posting--at least for a few weeks. I realize that's not a great solution. For one thing, they can post a bunch of crap before their posts get marked. But there isn't much that can be done about that, because we have to assume every new account is a legitimate one. However one idea might be that if an account is generating a lot of marked posts in a short amount of time, it's safe to assume it's a troll and delete all their posts. I would recommend Seth and Rvelez. Also Absol. Also SG, but she doesn't want to do it of course. Also Kalafina but of course she doesn't like the idea of it. -
@Minichi It was a joke. If Drew was actually doing this because we weren't her friends, I'd be extremely disappointed. Was preparing a legit response as seen just now.

Okay, so if people want new moderators, why don't you speak up? Why do you all hide from us like we're going to eat your faces off or something? We WANT new moderators. We've asked GTQ Guy several times for new moderators to replace those whom have officially left/don't come on anymore so are assumed gone. If y'all are talking "in secret" no one is going to help you speak up.
