Because your email can be used to change your password
The moment you put the email you used to register your account on GTQ on the forums, some not so cool people will simply use your email to change your password and you are most unlikely to get your account back.
If you really have to share an email on here just use an email that is not connected to your GTQ account whatsoever
To be on the safe side though you can always never post emailsModerator -

Your email is used in the password hint. If your hint makes your password super obvious, then yes, someone can hack your account.
