Geek here, when I view the source of gotoquoz.com it's not just some rogue ad which changes the location, all of the html is the ad basically. Nothing whoch is on the normal gtq page.
Also, I'm on hotel wifi so not my normal wifi. -
This is now affecting me as well, so you can tack my name to the end of the list.

Can the affected people try the following:
1) In Windows, search Apps or search from the Start button for "cmd", press enter, and a black window comes up. Type the following (without quotes) and press enter: "ping gotoquiz.com" then tell me what it says.
2) Try accessing gotoquiz with this URL: and see if it loads correctly
Of course, do the above on a computer and browser that are affected by the spam page problem. If you are not on a Windows computer, you can still try the second one and let me know what happens. -
I've been on that link for a while now, and the site itself worked fine, but if you go to the search engine and type something in, that's where it messes up. Otherwise the forums, and posting work fine for me.

I couldn't try the first one, but I did try the second one.
That URL does make the website load without the pop-up ads. But the GTQ logo in the top left is missing. -
That was the one I tried too. But the GTQ logo is back to normal for me. Didn't clarify that before.

Same with Luna, on my laptop, the website is fine but the logo is missing and on certain pages the normal blue outlining is missing or parts look a bit wonky. On mobile this address is completely functional.

I'm using a nintindo dsi and am on a proxy server. The only thing i'm getting is a 404 error thing, but it goes away and gtq starts working fine. [Then comes back in a few minutes]

It's working well for me except for the broken GoToQuiz logo in the corner, but the site works perfectly.

If I'm on the link that you provided, then I have no problems. But when I go to the GTQ search bar, and type something in and hit enter, that's when I have trouble and the ad's pop up.

So far it looks like I'm in the clear. It was doing the ad thing earlier this morning, but now I'm able to get on my two affected devices. Like what Alex said, my logo is missing, but otherwise nothing appears to be wrong.

Update: It stopped working again and the ads came back.
