A chain thread is a thread where the post form a chain.
Stuff like "Rate the thing above you" or "post a number 1 bigger than the poster above you".
Each post forms the next chain.
For deleting them we wouldn't do that, we would simply make sure they were not bumped. -
But the chain threads that we have at the moment are all new - it's not typically them that get bumped - people are using The Study for those games and I don't see how we can stop that, it might just be a trend that passes.
About "bumping" non-chain threads that are in the topic forums, say someone wants to talk about a topic that has a thread existing from months/years ago, I don't see what's wrong with bringing it back instead of starting a new thread about the same thing. -
But people keep making more chains and they just keep getting bigger and distract from the purpose of the forum

emmajamme2 Newbiechain threads are spammy. dont make the same post as three other people. not that hard.

By bumping I mean any post that moves the thread to the top.
