A. Making a quiz to become a Novice.
If you didn't know, you have to be a Novice in order to upload a profile picture. To become a Novice, you must make your very own quiz and get people to take it. How do you make a quiz? Simple.
Step 1 - Go to your starting point. Whether you are on a thread, on a forum, in the forum list, or on the GTQ homepage, you need to start somewhere.

Step 2 - If you're curious, you can check your profile. For someone who's made quizzes and has a profile picture, it'll look like this.

Part 1 - There are two things that you might not have. These components are circled in red.

Part 2 - This is what it'll look like for you.

Step 3 - Look above your profile for a link that says "Create a Quiz". This is circled in red. If you are not in your profile, you can still access the same link in the same spot from anywhere else. Click on it once you've found it.

Step 4 - You've made it! Pick any of the three choices and make your quiz. Once you've decided, each page will lead you step-by-step through the quiz making process.

B. Uploading your picture.
You've finished making your quiz. Your profile now holds the status of "Novice". Now what?
Step 1 - Click on your profile. You should be able to access this anywhere on the forums. Once you're on it, you should see the option "[set your picture]".

Step 2 - Click on the option and pick a picture that is a good size. It should be square-like, or it won't fit. Boom, you have a profile picture! c: -

And it is a matter of opinion in whether or not they were necessary. GIFs are used to express an opinion. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion and express it in whichever matter they please. -

Verbally aggressive is literally impossible. Aggressive means physical. Therefore, stop contradicting yourself. Calling someone verbally aggressive makes you look like you have no understanding of the english language.

Any-ways, the gif's relevant. Unnecessary, yes, but then again, the entire human race is unnecessary. It depends upon your view-point. Looking at it from a practical manner doesn't get the point across properly. You're gonna have to see what the gif is about, and why the guy's clapping. Dark made an entire post with detailed instructions and manually edited pictures (which I'm sure is not hard, but me too lazy), and I had to congratulate her beyond words.
Thus, I posted a gif of a guy wiping away tears and clapping slowly. Perhaps if you looked deeper in-to the actual meaning of the gif, you wouldn't have looked so stupid. -
