Whats the point of coming to the forums when we can message those we prefer to talk to ;)

A on of the threads on here end up being one on one conversations, if private messaging came to play it would kill a lot of the traffic in the forums.
If you don't have the guts to say it in public don't say it in GTQ -

Forums are for discussions. VM and PM are for communicating with a specific person. Offbeat could still be the general chat room, and other forums will still be alive with discussions.

There is a lot of favoritism on this site, people don't mix around like we used to back in the days, they will probably and much rather just go and rp or whatever via PM and keep talking to those they know only and that pretty much decreases activity here -
I see. Offbeat will probably die, but the other forums won't though.

It's good and bad for reasons. I personally like PM because of it's privacy. If two people want to keep in contact outside of GTQ, they can give each other information that they don't want idiots to get a hold of.
And I'm sure the only 'roleplaying' going on in the PM would be the planning step. Or for reminding your partner.
Activity may decrease in the Lounge, but I could live with that seeing as I'm one of the older members that gets ignored there anyway. Most of my time is spent in the stage or stalking around.
The thing about PM is that it could take a lot of work to put it into action. But I'll let Geek explain that since he probably knows what would be necessary. -

And about VM, it's a good thing to see some friend left a vm on your wall. There's no way to directly contact someone here.
