Thread Topic: We Should Make Our Own Club/Crew

Example: I want to make a Writing Club/Crew, for people who love to write. I ask GTQ guy, and he'll say if he approves or not. If he does, this will become a club. Then I will ask people to join. If not, there will be no writing club.
When someone joins, on the bottom of their info profile (or whatever you call it) it will say what club/crew you are in.

The writing club will have their OWN thread, which will be put in a forum chosen by the creator of the club, and members will post there. They shall only talk about writing and only writing. They may NOT post anything that does not relate to the club. If they want to post something that does not relate to the club, they shall make their own thread.

The club can pretty much be anything:
"Swagalicious Club"
"Witches Club"
"Bananas Club"
"Anime Club"
"Black Butler Club"
"Lion King Club"
"Aliens Club"
"Writing Club"
"Drawing Club"
"Singers Club"
"Dancers Club"
"1D Club"
"Actress club"
Or anything else :P

I've made an anime club before in the Play Room. It died. You should know you're in a club. There's no need to have something that says that. Also, clubs tend to die pretty quickly. XD

On topic here, I don't think this is a good idea. I can see this being abused with hate clubs but there might be a way to make this idea work. -
Perhaps if gtq guy created the clubs, asked people to join with a maximum number of applicants, and had moderators doing their job of seeing who cant be in the club for whatever reason, and maybe he could decide who the president could be. I think this could work with little to no problems if everything's taken care of by gtqguy and responsible moderators.

This sounds like fun, and I am pretty excited about the idea of clubs. But as other people said, there would be some flaws, such as them dying, other clubs fighting/causing drama, or one club overtaking several clubs to be the most popular, and all of the other people not in that club wanting to join it, leaving a bunch of people in that super popular club and one or two people in every other club.

I honestly don't like this idea at all. It's not that I don't like how creative you were, but we simply don't need clubs. It's just another way to make groups. You can easily make a club by posting a thread, isn't that enough?
