Write in other languages that have to use different symbols. Like Korean or Russian. And have all those fancy accents for Spanish, French, and German.
I know languages that have different symbols can be romanized by sound, but have you ever tried to sound out Korean romanization and say it correctly? It's hard, really hard.
So if we could just use the original ways to "spell", that'd be nice. If there's no possible way to change this, then I understand. -
I think it may be possible, but it would take a bit of time to code.
I think its a great idea; We could attract more users and be a better socializing forum. -
He'd probaly have to convert the losts to ascii code before inserting them into the database. But I dun really know.

Would he honestly have to do that? Couldnt he just code something that basically says:
By my royal decree, let all posts beyond this day and time be in ascii format
Or would it just be a pain to manage a site with two text formats? (Bugs, etc) -
I dunno, he could add another column saying wether or not its ascii.

Eh, thats true, but I would think he'd try not to overcomplicate things.

Wait...then you could, like, copy and paste symbols and they'd actually show up when posted? I tried to post some Bengali symbols, but they didn't show up ._. -
This could also make the site friendlier for people who don't speak English, or who aren't strong in English.
