It's a use-ful idea. Oh-so-often, people want to let other's know of ideas with-out every-body else intruding. Ok, no-body says hi to the new guy who just made a thread. With people e-mailing each other, the chances are actually MORE LIKELY to happen that the older users don't say hi. This is because they become completely oblivious of their GTQ surroundings. It's a great idea, from my perspective. The shoutbox system seems a good idea, too.

I wasn't suggesting the shoutbox for gtq, I was suggsting that if you wanted to privately discuss you make one.

Multiple tabs. This still makes the e-mail problem slightly larger, as you can do the same thing on GTQ, but as you are on GTQ solely, you are more likely to refresh a page and check out other forums.

What if we had a completely seperate part of the forums? The Private Forums? So, all public forums stay here, but all the Private Forums are segregated?

What Geek just said. There would be a lot less activity in the lounge if we had 'the private forums'. Half of the conversations in the Lounge is just between two/three people.
