Deleting the post doesn't delete the thread.
The troll spam is still there even if the actual post is gone. -

That may be a good thing though. Imagine that you had a 700 page thread and a bunch of people labeled your first post as offensive. That would suck if your entire thread just got deleted.
This thread is locked, therefore no new posts can be made.
