He and I have known each other for five years now, and he sorta had a crush on me when we first met. I assumed he got over it, but just this year, he's showing interest again. I just want to be friends, but sometimes I feel like there's more... BUT I DON'T WANT THERE TO BE MORE.

Why would you be feeling as though there's something more if deep, deep down inside there you didn't want it? Maybe you only subconsciously want it, or maybe you're just reading extreme platonic emotions wrong. Either way, you need to think long and hard about how you feel about this boy, but when you think, let your emotions do the thinking and not your brain. If it turns out that you really do like him, go for it. If you don't like him, no harm done.

Thanks guys, I just don't want to ruin our friendship by telling him I do or don't like him... He's such a great guy and you don't come across people like him very often.
