You know the that shy awkward girl alone in the library. Any advice on how to talk to these kind of girls and get them to like me(I am a very serious mature person)

Say hello to her and ask her what kind of books she likes. Tell her your thoughts as well. If she's shy she'll appreciate you doing a lot of the talking but allow her to talk as well. :)
