I don't see how internet dating really gets anywhere. Like, I could never really take it seriously. I need phsyical contact to feel loved and happy. I can deal with distance for a little while, but I couldn't totally have a relationship online. But for some people it works. To each his own I guess (:

That's basically it. It's okay if you disagree, just let others do what they want. Saying it'll never work out is like making bets on how long someone's relationship will last. It's kind of a dick move if you ask me. -
I could never see myself in one, but if it works for you go right ahead. Whether face to face or over the internet, it's still a human being. That's what it all comes down to.

I personaly think i could never get in an internet relationship,but thats just me. People in those kind of relationships ARE NOT pathetic losers. If you find someone who you love it doesnt matter how you met them or how you talk to them.

I am in a long distance relationship myself. I already have road maps, a fully written plan, and a budget set aside to go be with her. This plan isn't going to happen fast, and we both understand that. I'm not saying a relationship has to be permenantly long distance based, if you prefer it that way, go for it, but I am saying that they can also be all you have for the time being. All you can do. Sometimes people are powerless, and saying that it wont work because of something you can't help for the time being is demoralizing. It's saddening. Disheartening. I envy you people who can be with the person you love. I really do.
But I don't envy the ignorance that sometimes follows.

I agree. Why have online relationships when you could have REAL relationships. The person you're talking to could be a 43 year old person of the opposite sex (or even the same one). Seriously, online dating is for losers. I'm sorry. :P
