I'm not avidly against gays, nor am I for them. Mildly against, sure. I think it's yucky, but I've been reading books about soul reincarnation, like Incarnate (really good book), and they say that some of the soul-mates who after every lifetime would get married again, because in that place they all knew each other and there souls. So now I think I get it. For gay people, it's more like they're attracted to that person's soul than the body they're in. Admitting that's what everyone's been telling me all along, "It's about personality, blah blah blah."
So I undrestand now. Yes, it's about who they really are, and the body doesn't matter.
But I'm still stuck on the fact that you can love them, physically, when they're the same gender as you.
Comments, bad or good, just no swearing please. -
I love Evan, mainly for how good of a person he is. And never felt the connection I have for him with any other man. Perhaps our souls are reincarnated, who knows.
Jeremy instantly feel in love with Fuji, just because of how sweet and wonderful he I'd to be around.
So if this is due to reincarnation, well then more people need to realize it and soon because I'm sick of all the hate. Although, I'm very interested to read that book now.
About the physical thing. If there's no emotion, it's sex. If it's passionate and both people feel they can only do the act with each other, it's making love. That's why when people who are married say 'I love you' after they cheated, they may love their personality or something about them, but they couldn't stand being tied to one body. -
Gay relationships= the same exact love men and women share + different sex.
The sex really is the only difference. Aside from that, gays and lesbians are basically the same as the general population when it comes to romantic relationships. -
Sorry I don't believe in reincarnation.
I believe that
A) its either a genetic disorder (not bashing its toatally fine)
B) its just a part of life
C) normal -
FLgirl92 NewbieHonestly, I kinda like Sisi's explanation. It will probably turn out that homosexuality is genetic, but the idea of people who are attracted to the same sex being "wise souls" just really appeals. As a bisexual girl, I'm in a wierd position, because it isn't as easy to explain bisexuality by chalking it up to genetics. It's kind of cool to think of myself as someone who sees beyond gender to see peoples souls. That being said, I definitely admire the bodies of both men and women, so maybe I'm in transition. Maybe I'll be that "wise soul" you speak of in my next life.
BTW, I don't believe with absolute certainty in reincarnation, but I think it is a strong possibility. -
holden NoviceI guess I'm gonna break the current.
I don't believe in 'souls'. The fact that I'm bisexual has nothing to do with past lives or any of that crap.
I don't see 'past gender and into emotion'. I fully agknowledge that if I don't even remotely know a guy/girl, I could find them sexy as hell. -
I'm Holden, btw.

Hmm...
I somewhat agree with Sisi. I don't support gays, but I don't hate them either. -
@sisi is that your real pic?
