Someone...please just help. This really is killing me on the inside, and I don't want to kill her as well...

Try your best to show her your not very interested, but don't be too cold.
This advice isn't the best, but two of my friends went through this as well. He loved her but she told him, "I don't care about your feelings" and he got depressed.
So basically, don't encourage her or lead her on, but don't be heartless. -

Just plain and simple say you don't share the feelings but if you want to be friends, tell her that. And for added cheesy effect, tell her there's someone out there waiting for her. -
Just tell the person, trust me it's much easier to know the truth than not telling the person. If the person cant see your not interested, shame they just cant handle the truth, too bad for them[try saying it a nice way you don't like them]

Nothing about him wanting to kill himself. Technically, he's saying it's bothering him a lot but he doesn't want to depress her.
