OK. There's this boy that I was friends with since 3rd grade (I'm 13 now), and I have a crush on him. There is another girl who is my friend and she used to have a crush on him. So I respected her wishes and didn't give him any hints. Later, she switched to another guy.

This was my chance to make a move. But then I heard that ANOTHER girl likes him. She's also my friend (actually more like aquaintance), but I don't want to let this guy go!!

How do I tell this guy, who I've known since 3rd grade, my best guy friend that I like him?

Also, any tips about not having the other girl hate me because I'm going to ask him out would be SUPER HELPFUL!! :)

ok um im a guy and i like making the first move. but some guys are different. if u like him go for it! but if ur the shy type kinda write a note. or if u want nobody to know right then, pull him somewhere and ask him privately.
