With relationships, I felt that I was the only person who hadn't had a boyfriend yet. So, I got a little desperate. Even when I was desperate, nothing happened. Guys still ignored me like they normally did. I didn't know what to do. So I put up a wall, to keep out everybody other than my friends. As I started to be myself, all of the guys started to like me. But, I didn't let them get to me. They didn't care about me enough to get over the wall I built, except for Nate. He tried his hardest to talk to me in the hallway, band, even in gym. He was trying to climb over that wall and he was slowly getting over it. I asked him out about one month ago, as he finished climbing the wall. Now, I know that he will be moving to Texas in April. His dad is going in the army, so he has no say in this mess. I think I'm in love but I'm not sure. I don't know if I can handle a long distance relationship knowing that we're only 11. (Well he just turned 12 on Friday) I just don't know, any advice?

Well, I think kids your age jump into it a little too fast. I'm not trying to discourage, but I think you're a little young. Keep in touch with him though. You don't need a bf/gf at your age.

If you care that much about him, I think you should give it a shot. Some are just worth taking.

I think he's lying to me about why he is moving. He and his brother told everyone else that his dad is a priest and he's going to a new church. But, he told me that his dad was in the army. I believe the army thing because his dad is in North Carolina now. He told me that his dad was training, and I believe him. But, I also trust my best friend because Nate is VERY religious. What should I do?

Samantha2332 NoviceI would just talk to him about it. You dont have to freak out. If he really likes you, he wouldnt lie to you about something silly like that. But Im not saying that your friend is lying.
