People say that love hurts...
Love doesnt hurt. Betrayal hurts. Being lied to hurts. Being cheated on hurts. Being abandoned or forgotten hurts. Those arent love. Those are the lack of love. Love is what makes all pain dissapear.
People say that it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all...
Have they ever tried it? I guess the idea is to remember all of the happy times you had with that person, but honestly, that entitles remembering everything you've lost. You dont miss what you never had so how can it hurt if you've never loved? The real pain comes from having something so good, and then losing it. -

honey, compassion and kindness is love. Maybe not a romantic kind, but it is love none the less.
