So, we're considered friends, but we don't talk that much. And I really don't talk to him unless he talks to me first. Considering it's a fact that he's always in a conversation, do you think I should just stand right by him and his strange friends, or poke him on the back or something? I don't want to be rude and be like, "Hey, ________!" while he's talking to someone. So, go ahead, say it's a dumb question, but I really think texting could bring us closer. And no, I don't have fb.

@harp: Mainly by my locker or in the hallway near my locker. We have one class together but he usually walks there and back with his girlfriend :(, and we don't sit by eachother. We did walk back from that class together two days in a row, the first day his girlfriend walked right in between us and started talking with us. It's hard to tell with this guy, though

Hmmm. How about: "Hey ____ can I have your phone number? I'm planning a get together with my friends." or something like that. Keep it casual. "Oh, by the way, do you think you could give me your phone number?" Say 'phone number' not just 'number'.

Xen, I'm just going to follow your stories on GTQ. I am still having to same troubles with the guy I like and I agree, having his number or in my case his email (mom won't let me get a cell phone.) would really help.
