that is not something I say when I'm happy. you guys aren't helping me at all or giving me any good advice and now I'm grounded.
here's the thing: Ive felt grown-up enough to make my own descisions ever since I got a job. and my parents liked that everything was all good I didn't get in trouble for other stuff. but honestly; I don't see wha I did wrong this time. -
Well, maybe you weren't direct with them, got snappy/sarcastic, they were having a bad day, etc. It could be anything, really. I told you what they would prefer, you didn't do that, but that is absolutely fine. Live your life the way you want, nothing wrong with it: but ry to think through exactly why you might have been grounded.
Either way, getting a job won't make you grown up. Besides: Enjoy being young. Enjoy the freedom and the care and the love and support you receive, because it sure as hell won't last forever. Trust me: Enjoy what you've got, being an adult isn't all it's cracked up to be. Enjoy what you have and don't grow up too fast, it's not worth it.

If you've gotten in trouble, you have a choice of one of two things. You can play nice and suck up for a while or you can rebel further. I'd choose the first option.
I just reread that conversation, I laughed because we (not you cm3) sounded like 2 year olds. No offense meant...it was funny! -

I don't want to read all that. but I'm seeing too many threads by this coolme person and all she is doing is b----ing. she needs to shut up and just be quiet. she needs to be considering that she has it way better than a lot of people. she seems like a selfish little spoiled b----.

Yes she makes a lot of threads and yes, she might be complaining most of the time but everybody need an outlet and if letting loose online help her relax, release and attain control, then good for her. She can do what she wants, just lleave her alone ;)

@LIAR: I guess looking at the bright side is better. But, I do agree with you that she doesn't have it that bad: I know kids who have literally been through hell compared to this. Still, if venting helps her, than so be it.
