Respect isn;t something i give out, Nikki, respect is earned, I don't even respect my teachers until they show me they are worthy of respect.

Carri is right, respect has to be earned. Leah, you have as much right to your opinion as I do mine, but if you read something you don't like, instead of irritating everyone on the post, just ignore it. Nobody wants to hear you complain about their posts. You may have your opinion, but you need to realize that it is coming off as offensive and rude.

My continuation in posting isn't to purposely annoy you all or prolong this disagreement, it's to justify my comments that have been unfortunately misinterpreted as me trying to be offensive-and if I was unintentionally offensive I apologize-and to also defend myself from the tirade of abuse against me.
Carri04 I know life isn't all ludicrously optimistic and perfect, that has just been proven again for me by this experience; some people can be really rude, careless e.t.c. Some say respect has to be earnt, if that's your opinion that's fine, but I believe in respect for everyone, and expect the same in return. But having said that haven't I earnt your respect by not once swearing, calling you all horrible names or being bias towards your opinions? Just a thought.

And to all of you, sorry, I know these posts are wearing thin, I'm getting sick of just typing them and this is definitely my last whilst I still have my credibility, but I don't want to be walked all over, misinterpreted and misunderstood.But all of that has clearly failed and is irrelevant to you all.
The major positive, though, that I can take from this experience is knowing now that my skin is thicker than ever before. So, in a weird way thanks. Being called a puss and ignorant isn't all that bad, first time for everything.

Listen Leah, we all have an opinion. My opinion is that religion is the cancer of humanity, homosexuality has turned into nothing more than a fashion statement, and racism since the 1940's hasnt stopped, just flipped the other way.
My opinion makes me a complete Dick. But just like my dick, you dont see me waving my opinion around without consideration. If people ask you to stop or if you realize you're di- i mean opinion isnt welcome, you should respectfully back off. -
Okay, it's over: she's apologized, hasn't dished on anyone's opinions, hasn't sworn, hasn't tried to come off as offensive. Of course many of you consider what she said to be offensive, but she's apologized more than once for the misunderstanding. Can't you all just give her a chance? I don't see how she hasn't earned respect: she's being completely patient with you all, when she could easily just begin a mindless tirade.
Again, I hope things work out for you Leah and that eventually, the other will see your point of view.
