Hikaru thats bad advice, now here's what you should do Amanda, you should continue on like you guys used to (or try) and when the time is right....maybe ask him out to see if you guys are good for eachother

no dip hikaru... doesnt mean we cant give advice... if she didnt want our advice she wouldnt be here. and i agree with carri. i think u should try talking to him more and ask him to hang out or sumthin and then if he seems into it then ask him out on a date. but i wouldnt jump into it to fast...just make sure he shows some sort of sign :)

i used to be in ur situation and everyone said we were goin out then he ignored me but then he did have feelings for me and i liked him tooooo..... so heres my sdvice if u like him tell him and just tell him how u feel he might like u

Sorry but once the whole feelings thing is out there in a friendship it can either go two ways:
1. He likes you back, you have a fantastic time together but it always seems a bit awkward that you guys used to be best friends. From that point on it's whether your comfortable with that fact. If not, better luck next time.
2. He doesn't like you back. He finds it weird that his best-friend likes him in that way, he panicks and he runs away.
Guys are like woodland creatures, you have to lure them in instead of conking them over the head with a rock. Maybe if you hint that you like him you'll end up with option 1 and joy will be spread over your faces.

okay well I've been in the same situation as you, and we still aren't the same but what we're trying to build our relationship back to what it was....so if I were you I would try being friends with him again and try building your guy's relationship back
