Okay...so I have practically been in-love for this guy for almost a year. Last September, I told him I liked him and he told me he liked me too. He said he wanted to go out but then hanged his mind and said we should just be friends. Then he kind of ignored me foe awhile after that. It took a while for us to become good friends again. Through the months, we flirted and everything. We hugged and yeah. Then, last month, he held my hand, put his arm around me, AND he said he liked me. He didn't do anything after that. He actually stopped hugging me, he kind of flirted a little less, an yeah. We used to hug everytime we saw each other but not anymore. He never opens his arms anymore. I just don't get it. Does he like me or hate me? I can never tell!

Guys are a f---le bunch. When he said he liked you, he really meant it. What he's waiting for now is is for you to take the initiative. Tell him you like him. Show some back bone and let him know you have these feelings too. He feels like that when he said he wanted to be friends the first time, like you got over your feelings for him and moved on. Now he told you that he likes you, and he expects you to not care and to tell him you're over him. What you need to do is tell him about how much you still care. Let him know you still like him. It'll make all the difference in the world. The reason he's stopped hugging and flirting is because he feels embarrassed. He feels like he made things awkward for you and he doesnt want to do that. Let him know you care. Hug him and tell him how you feel. Guys actually do respond to that kind of stuff. -
I flirt back a lot though. Plus, he knows I still like him because he somehow found out the night we held hands and everything. I would love to tell him I still care but I don't wanna ruin our friendship.
