What is your definition of love? Are you afraid of love? Why do you feel the need/desire to be loved? What is your overall opinion of love?

My definition of love holds a lot of meaning to me because I have experienced this, and it's a rare occurrence and takes what feels like centuries to get over. Love is when you want to spend all of your available time talking to that person. You never want to leave that person. You want to stay in their presence for as long as your soul will allow you to. This is a person you love more than life itself. Everything they see as weird or insane is the definition of perfect to you. They can't possibly be real because they're just that amazing. You want to care for this person to the best of your ability when they're sick, down, furious, and just whenever you possibly can. Sometimes I am afraid of this feeling because it's something I've only felt twice. I don't allow that to happen easily at all. I think people, including myself, feel the need to be loved because it gives them a sense of belonging. Everyone feels as if they need to belong and feel wanted or needed. It's human nature.

Quick opinion: Love will be the worst feeling you have ever experienced in your entire life if you do not have patience or resilience.

^ that quick one kind of sums up what I first thought, and the first describes perfectly what it's like for me but consider this-
When you hurt because you're in love with someone, it's not that yiu love them that hurts, it's that whatever situation you're in (breakup, seperated, scared to tell them, ect.) makes it to where you can no longer share that, so it gnaws away at you. THAT'S what hurts. Not the actual fact that you love them, otherwise even in good times it would still hurt. -
