So my crush found out that I like him and literally a few days later, he starts flirting with other girls and supposedly "dates" this one popular (but rude and catty) girl. Whenever they sit together or talk, he looks at me to see if I'm watching. He got close with the mean girl, but I think he's just using her to make me jealous? Because near the end of the semester, when I stop giving a crap about him, he stops talking and flirting to that mean girl ..... Is it just a coincidence or what?
P.S: That "mean girl" is the one who bullies me and tries to bring me down a lot. I think he knows that I dislike that girl .... -
Oh and it turns out that him "dating" her was all a joke ... and no one knew it was joke until the end of the semester (when I started to give no s---s about him)

Do you think he likes me? Because why would he go through all the trouble of befriending this girl and pretending to date her if he didn't? Like, if I find out that someone likes me and I don't like them back, I wouldn't even bother them - I would just shrug it off. -

It doesn't make sense for him to do that if he actually liked you, because if I found out a girl/guy that I liked 'liked' me back I'd move things forward with her/him instead of playing any mind games.I mean whats the point of tricks if you already know?Theres no need for it.

But why would he do that if he didn't like her? It doesn't really make sense either way.

Lions, as well as you godhorse, is right. If he likes you, than why do that to you? He has no reason whatsoever to do that. Same if he doesn't. Why do it for no reason? Why not just be like "that's cool" or whatever? Anyway, I feel bad that this is happening to you.
