The damage the last one did to me was so big that I doubt I can trust anyone for a long while. And what's the use of being in a serious relationship when I'm full of doubts?

She left me for someone else, fine. But the way she pretended to be madly in love with me...that makes things very hard. Even if the next person is really in love with me I doubt I'll be able to trust her. How am I to know that it isn't real?
