Lexi loveheart NewbieSo theirs this guy and I like and he knows that. So we're at this odd part where it awkward talking to him, and it doesn't help that most friend try to set us up and make everything worse, and more awkward. And I really don't know what to do without making things worse...

So, You mean to say that you wanna talk to that guy but you are not getting the chance OR You and that guy both wants to talk to each other but you can't because you're not getting the right time and it's awkward talking o the guy in front of all your frnds.

So you BOTH(?) want some free time to spend alone. It means you both don't want any disturbance or it would be awkward or something that would make you feel guilty? It's very difficult to solve this and get some time alone.
If you both like each other then it can't be awkward talking to each other. Try to get the chance to talk to him. Don't talk in such a place where there is no one. In fact, talk to him in a kind of place where lots of peoples are there so no one could know what is going on... P.s I don't know your age but if you both in the same class then try to talk to him in the class with the reason of taking notes, giving notes or something else.
But, I would recommend you to talk to him only if you trust him and he is a nice guy. I don't wanna hurt you but in my opinion 'Trust' is the most important part in a relationship. You both are friends. Don't hurry up! Try to know more about him. His past... his feelings... his hobbies... and if he really likes you. Take more time. I've given you such a long piece of advice but believe me, the more time you'll take, the more you will understand each other and the tower of trust will become more powerful....
