Just because everybody is dating doesn't me you should to. Everybody in my grade don't even stick to dating, We love having fun then having romance. Blech.

Middle school is too young. Just because everyone else thinks they're "mature" enough for it, doesn't mean they really are. Honestly, waiting until Junior or Senior year is best, or even college. You're more ready and usually more emotionally stable by those points.
But...if you're still with him 5 months from now, or even a year, good for you. Just remember, don't force a relationship if it isn't going to work. That'll just make you, and possibly him, miserable. -
^Agreed mostly. I'd wait until maybe thirteen to fifteen. At least until seventh, eigth, maybe even ninth grade. And even then, I agree with Unloving and Banana. One month isn't a big deal. I don't see why you're so upset about this.

Brownie, I'm 14, and I just finished my first year in high school. I've only had one boyfriend and I'm not interested in getting another one. Why? Because at this point they're a bunch of boys trying to show off that they can get girls to fall for them. Right where you are, it's a game for them. So save yourself the trouble of a month anniversary and wait to see it it lasts six months or a year. If it does, you got a decent enough boyfriend, but I actually doubt it can last that long at your age. I know this sounds harsh, but that's how boys are at your age. -
