And I definitely appreciate tips.

There's this dog I kinda just attempted. I'm having problems shading.
Also I watched a YouTube video to show me what to do, so, no way this was just in my head -
This is my first try at anything manga
I've literally never tried anime/manga before -

I really like your style!
What I try to do when shading is just draw a circle in one spot on the paper and pretend that's the light source
Then I'd imagine where the light would shine the brightest and where the darkest spots would be -
Ohhh okay thanks!

This isnt at all talented, it's just something I made for my friend.
Look at me I'm a good kid. I use crayons and draw inside the lines. -
First attempt at a dragon

To be fully honest for someone that says they need practice you are a much better artist than some of the self proclaimed ARTISTS on here seriously

^Art isn't something to compare like that. It's insulting to everyone involved. Everyone has different styles, different rates of growth. Art comes in different forms. That's like saying someone who plays a guitar is a better musician than someone who plays digital music.
By the way, that dragon is f---in awesome. I wanna hang it on my wall. -
Thanks to both of you! Tbh I don't see myself as an amazing artist, and IamLelouch has a good point. Like, I'm probably really terrible at digital art, and I'm only currently working on whatever sketches I can do with a pencil. I'm not very good at anime/cartoon characters. I can not draw self-portraits for the life of me. I'm just trying to teach myself lol.

I love the dragon!

Thanks :)

Ok so like this is really messy because I was kind of messing around, and I didn't use any tutorial for this one. Just went for it lol.
I'll probably stick this and clean it up more. Make it pretty.
