I love digital art, but at this point in my artistic growth I feel I'd benefit more from a bit of a hands-on approach and going back to the basics. Honestly, I haven't been doing much art at all lately, and I really want to get back into it. I just need to bring more structure to my art, more practice on anatomy and such, and also develop my own style.
I don't contribute hardly anything to this forum, and it's mainly due to my artistic stagnation I've been in for a long time. I want to come back though, I just need to get started again. .3. -

Nah son. Don't be an art theft. You didn't draw that.
Back on topic:
Any way you that you feel most comfortable doing is great! As long as you feel better doing it and you feel that you satisfied with it. I myself find that traditional art is much easier than digital, sure it doesn't provide as many options but it's more natural.
And don't rush yourself in coming back or contributing~ We're all patient and we'll wait for you. Take all the time you need. -
Claiming you drew something that someone else did is plagurism, and the biggest no-no in the artistic world. It makes everyone automatically lose respect for you as an artist because you prove yourself incapable of being honest and creative.
Anyways, basically what Alice said is the best advice that can be given. Rushing yourself is the worst thing you can do.
Digital art is easier for me now. I've burned myself out when it comes to traditional work (spent all summer working traditionally). Whatever's most comfortable to you is the best option, and that's what you should always go for. :3
