Even if I never had any real connection to that country before Hetalia, something about the character at least I really like. He has a good heart, and is often treated badly whether it be by Russia, and sometimes his friend Poland. And he's strong, and brave as well even in the face of adversity. It's amazing he hasn't lost his mind yet. .3.
I like him. I guess in some ways he reminds me of myself. -
He really seems like a sweet character. He needs more lovie and less teasy. :'3

I understand what people are saying, about with their history together it'd be hard to ship this, though Russia killed my country (well just took away his nationhood, but still) and I ship them sometimes. ^^' -

Honestly, I'm not really a fan of RussLiet. It's hard for me to ship those two because Russia to me is just so abusive to Lithuania..
Prussia and Russia, I also find hard to ship. x'D Just the fact that Russia 'killed' him makes it hard for me to imagine it.
But, that's my opinion. -
I agree. xD Russia's so abusive in many pairings, it breaks my heart. Especially when it involves some of my favorite characters.
At least in RoChu, I feel like China's the type who won't take too much of Russia's crap and would stand strong against him. -
Yeah. .3. Like I've seen some Germany/Russia pictures and.. It was just so horrible what Russia was able to do to Germany to make him all submissive like that. D:

I'll admit... I guess I have some resentful feelings toward Russia simply for how much pain the government caused to not only my family but many other families. Of course I'm more than happy to make friends with Russians, and maybe even visit there. The only thing that pisses me off is the idea of 'Russian superiority'. .3.

Your comment there. I hate saying it, but I myself kinda feel the same way. xP Seeing that a lot of my family was from the army, and they were forced to go make peace with Russia though the didn't want to after everything the Russians took from them.
My friend, the Russian one of course, has that slight thing of Russia superiority going on through her mind sometimes. xP The father is much more modest, but for her, I am much more frightened of her. ._.

Yeah, that's a lot like what happened to my family. .3. My grandfather was forced into a gulag and traumatized for life afterwards. And when east Germany (Prussia) was occupied by the Soviet union (ooh la la xD) my relatives could have died sneaking over to west Germany.
Well, I'd probably just end up teasing her with Prussian superiority. xD But to me it'd only be a joke. All peoples are equal. Human ares humans. .3.
