In Season 3 of Hetalia, Spain has more focus on himself and a couple episodes.
And dudes, I don't honestly know where the idea of him being a pedo came from. ._. Just pervy, shota fangirls is my guess.
Because when you actually watch it, Spain totally acts like a normal fatherly/brotherly figure towards Romano. If anything, France should be the one in question. o3o
Hetalia the anime can be very silly, and often times edgy, but I must make clear that I highly doubt that the creators ever meant for Spain to become the pedobear image he often is seen as today. >.> He's actually a very cute and funny character.
Blame the fandom, it's full of creepy idiots. xP
Also... I'm going to be honest I don't really like UsUk or Spamano at all anymore. xD Gosh, I feel like Arisu did when she stopped liking Veggie and Goku. I just think those pairings are a bit creepy when you think about it. I kind of like England and Japan together now. x3 And KimchiBurger.
