My favorite anime series is Yu Yu Hakusho! I suck suck suck at summaries so this is going to suck suck suck. The anime is really good though.
Anyways, Yusuke Urameshi is the biggest delinquent in his town. Up to the point that when he walks by a shop they pretend to be closed. Though he's only 14. One day, while saving a kid he gets into a car accident and dies. At first he's confused but later just decides to chill with it. A grim reaper type girl named Botan tells him that his death was completely pointless for the car would have turned and the kid would have left with a few scratches or less. And that the Spirit World has decided to give him another chance to live. Since it hasn't been decided if he goes to Heaven or Hell. At first Yusuke declines saying that everybody would be glad, now that he's dead. But Botan tells him to think it over. So Yusuke wanders to his funeral. All his classmates are laughing. His teachers are seen saying that he was probably kicking the kid when the car came. Then he notices that someone is crying. It's Keiko Yukimura, Yusuke's childhood friend. He's shocked to see her sad about his death. Then another kid Kuwabara comes while his friends are trying to drag him away. He tells Yusuke (Picture of Yusuke) that he wasn't supposed to die until Kuwabara beat him. His friends eventually drag him away. The two teachers mentioned before laugh and scorn at him. Another teacher comes and tells them that laughing at someone's funeral is way worse then crying because someone died. He then goes to Yusuke's picture saying that he really would miss him and that he wanted to be mad at him for throwing away his life. When the teacher says 'Yusuke' Yusuke's mother bursts out in tears. At first she was blankly staring ahead. She had kind of become a shell. So that moment is kind of heart wrenching. Anyways, next comes the little kid who Yusuke saved and his mother. A few words from them and Yusuke decides to go back to life. He finally realizes that there are people that he cares for who care for him.
The story follows Yusuke's adventures before he comes back to life and after he finds out that there was a price: He had to become a Spirit Detective. Along his adventure Yusuke meets new friends and starts having a purpose.
Again the anime is really good. I just suck at summaries. -

Luv myself NoviceI just watch Kakurenbo. It's about 7 kids who are chosen from there groups to play a game of hide and seek. Except you are hiding in a giant maze, running away from these creatures. They find you, and you turn to dust and everyone's memory about you is washed away. There can only be one winner, so it is almost like the hunger games.
