Dead Stars: A Warriors love story! (Part 1)

Hello there! This is the first part of my love story quiz series, Dead Stars! You start off as an apprentice called Dewpaw! You have a sister called Crimsonpaw, and there are four she-cats who will be your options here, Tipstream, Mosquitofeather, Antfang and Mousefur! At the end of the series, you'll get a mate and solve a murder mystery too!

This is originally made for lesbian, bi, or pan she-cats, but you can take the quiz anyways and imagine the genders and pronouns how you like them! Have fun!

As dawn sets, you wake up in your nest in the apprentices' den next to Tippaw, a graceful silver she-cat, and Crimsonpaw, you dark ginger-furred sister, who is just waking up.'Hey there, Dewpaw!', she greets you with a big smile.'Moonrank says we can train together today since Berrystrike wants to stay at camp with his new kits!'Cool, right?'
- 'Yay, let’s go, buddy!', you meow, and you give Crimsonpaw a hug, knowing your sister will always be your best friend, no matter what happened.
- 'Okay, let me groom my fur first and then I'll come...', you mumble. The little pieces of dirt in your pelt were irritating you to death, and you wished your bushy hairs would be as nice and sleek and Tippaw's.
- 'Great, let’s wake the others too and ask if we can train all together!', you exclaim. You bet Mosquitopaw, who loves group trainings, will be so happy!
- 'Good, training always goes better when you aren't alone! I'm excited to see what move we'll learn this time!', you tell her. Maybe you could beat Antoaw, the strongest apprentice, for once if you learned more moved than her! Then your play fights would be even more fun!
- 'Yes, I love training together! It’s really fun to do it with others!', you say. You were hoping to train with Mousepaw soon, she had just as much enthusiasm about training together as you!
Moonrank decides to take all of the apprentices on a big battle training, which she started with the instruction: 'Okay, since I don’t really know all of your skills, please all tell me what aspect of fighting you are best at.' Tippaw answered stalking, Mosquitopaw pouncing, Antpaw feints, Mousepaw rolling away from the enemy, Crimsonpaw admitted she didn’t like fighting and wasn’t good at it either, and you said your best quality too.'Good, now form pairs', your sister's mentor ordered.'And pick a partner who is a good match for you in battle, not your best friend', she added with a meaningful glance at Mosquitopaw and Mousepaw, who were already huddling together.'Come on, let's crush this, sis!', Crimsonpaw declares happily.But then, Tippaw walks to you.'Dewpaw, I think we would be a good pair. We have the same posture, while Crimsonpaw is a lot more squat than you.''I know!', Crimsonpaw told her.'But I can handle it!'
- 'Indeed. She asked first, Tippaw, so I’m going with her', you decide. 'I'm not that good at fighting anyways.' 'It’s okay, I'll go with one of the others', Tippaw responds.
- 'Sorry sis, but I'm going with Tippaw', you meow. 'She’s right, we'd be a better duo.' Crimsonpaw looks a little hurt, but lets you two team up.
- 'Uh, I think I’m going with Mosquitopaw!', you say. 'I’m pretty good at pouncing, and she seems like a nice partner!' Crimsonpaw gives you a hurt look but doesn’t protest.
- 'I’m sorry, but I think I’m going to choose Antpaw. She’s smart and a fight with her would be a nice challenge!' Crimsonpaw seems hurt but keeps silent.
- 'But Mousepaw seems so sad that she can’t pick Mosquitopaw... I'll go with her, she’s really sweet', you tell Crimsonpaw and Tippaw. Your sister looks hurt but doesn’t hold you back.
After training, you go back to camp and Mosquitopaw asks all apprentices if they want to share prey together.Crimsonpaw agrees, but you can see she isn’t happy.She never liked big groups.Tippaw seems pretty happy with the decision, Antpaw looks like she doesn’t care, and Mousepaw smiles and offers to get everyone their fresh-kill.
- 'I’m sorry, Crimsonpaw and I already promised to share', you lie. Just like your sister, you preferred being with a small amount of other cats, or even alone.
- 'Okay!', you meow. You don’t like sitting alone, because then cats start to be annoying to you.
- 'Amazing idea!', you exclaim. The more the merrier!
- You nod. You don’t really care who you sit with, because you're mostly living in your thoughts.
- 'Nice, I'll go with you, Mousepaw!', you say. You like helping others.
If you agreed to come, Mosquitopaw is very happy. If you didn’t, she looks super sad and by the power of puppy eyes, you are eventually convinced.As you gobble down your food, your leader, Ravenstar, calls a Clan meeting and announces all apprentices get to go to the Great Gathering tonight!All of you are happy, since this is your first Gathering, except for Antpaw, who is the oldest and has been there once before.You leave the camp alongside the other cats who would go, including your mother, Brightfrost, who was a respected warrior.Crimsonpaw wants to go to her, but Tippaw sees her and starts a conversation.You end up next to Antpaw.
- You talk to her about basic things like: 'How are you?' 'Are you also happy to go to the Gathering?', and keep silent for the rest.
- You wish Tippaw would've come to you. She’s very creative, just like you, and you wish you could get to know her.
- You immediately ask her all about herself. You love meeting new people and getting to know them!
- Just like her, you're interested in the history of the Clans, so you talk about that. Antpaw seems to be enjoying it.
- You start a conversation and go along with the things she says.
You arrive at the Gathering and pick a spot in between Crimsonpaw and Mosquitopaw.Two ShadowClan apprentices start talking with your sister, while Mosquitopaw and Mousepaw conversate with some RiverClan cats, and you join them.But then, Mosquitopaw says: 'Dewpawww, I think a star fell from the skyyy! It’s youuu!', and then laughs loudly.She’s flirting with you, as a joke of course, but still.
- You run away when none of them watches and sit alone. That was weird, you need some alone time.
- That wasn’t nice, but you keep sitting with them. You don’t want to be rude. But you want to tell Tippaw later, you know a lot of cats pad after her, so she'll know how it feels.
- You laugh along with her. When you think about it, you realize you actually didn’t mind it, and maybe even kinda like Mosquitopaw?
- 'Mosquitopaw, please stop, I’m sorry but I don’t like this', you explain to her calmly. 'It’s okay, I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable', she replies understandingly. You already feel better and keep sitting with her.
- You don’t mind it because it was only jokingly, but you know you wouldn’t like her to do this for real, and shift away from her, a little closer to Mousepaw.
Next morning, you wake up, stretch your paws, and yawn, just like every normal morning.But then, Berrystrike, your mentor and deputy, calls a Clan meeting.You see Mousepaw is already awake, staring at him in confusion.When she sees you, she immediately asks you: 'What’s happening?'She seems relieved to have a friend with her.
- You shrug. 'I don’t know', you meow, and you await your mentor's words quietly.
- 'I don’t know, maybe Tippaw does?', you upper. She is Ravenstar's daughter and really smart, she must know the answer!
- 'I don’t know, maybe Mosquitopaw does?', you suggest. She’s really social and talkative, she must’ve heard it from someone!
- 'I don’t know, maybe Antpaw does?', you think. She’s very strategic and good at training, maybe she can figure out what's happening!
- 'I don’t know, sorry', you admit, and you give Mousepaw a hug to comfort her. 'Thank you', she purrs. 'You’re so nice!'
Berrystrike says he has two announcements: one happy, one sad.It turns out Ravenstar passed away during the night.But worse, he was killed!The Clan gasps in horror.Their leader, killed!After the shock sank in, he continued he would make Beightfrost, your mother, deputy!You, Crimsonpaw, and your father, Cloudspirit, cheer the loudest for her of all, even though you're still sad about Ravenstar's death.But then, it's time for the happy news: Antpaw is becoming a warrior, and will be called Antfang!
- You cheer for her, but not as loud as for your mother. You're happy for her though!
- You cheer for her, but meanwhile you go to Tippaw to comfort her. Her father just died, she needs your support now!
- You cheer for her loudly to keep the spirit up. Bad things happened, but you’re still your excited self and want to make the Clan happy! Mosquitopaw shouts along with you.
- You cheer like your life depends on it, even as hard as for your mother! Though you're a bit sad you won’t be training with Antfang anymore now, you really liked her.
- You cheer for her, but tears drop down your body. This is a really emotional moment for you since your leader died and your mother was made deputy. You lean onto Mousepaw for support, and she hugs you. You feel better already.
A half moon passes, and Ravenstar's killer is still not found.No foxes, badgers, or other dangerous animals in your territory.Berrystar had talks with all other Clans, but none of them knew anything.Tippaw wasn’t herself, she was always tired, barely washed, was never hungry, and almost never left her mother, Roselake's, side anymore.Her sleek silver fur is now dirty, big ramparts disfigured her normally bright blue eyes, and her long, elegant tail almost always dragged over the ground.One day, she sits next to you.
- 'Hi', you say awkwardly, and you leave as soon as possible without hurting her or being rude.
- You hug her and meow: 'I know it’s hard for you, Tippaw, but I'm here for you.' She looks at you lovingly and hugs you back.
- You try to cheer her up by doing something fun with her. She must feel better with that!
- You offer to take her to the medicine cat. Therapy might be useful, but you don’t think there's much you can do.
- You try to comfort her and ask if you can do anything to help, but she says you can’t.
Another couple of days later, in which Tippaw turned into Tipstream, Mosquitopaw into Mosquitofeather, and Mousepaw into Mousefur, Tipstream seems to feel at least a bit better, and Crimsonpaw says she wants to talk to you.In private. She takes you outside camp and blurts out: 'Dewpaw, I think I have a crush!'You gasp.There was nothing wrong with crushes, but you got so caught up in your own problems that you never thought of her having one...'Remember the Great Gathering? Well, I talked with two ShadowClan cats and... befriended one, but we've met a lot since then, and I really love her', she confessed.
- 'Okay', you meow and shrug.
- 'Yeah, actually, I think I have a crush too...', you say, thinking of Tipstream.
- 'Yeah, actually, I think I have a crush too...', you say, thinking of Mosquitofeather.
- 'Yeah, actually, I think I have a crush too...', you say, thinking of Antfang.
- 'Yeah, actually, I think I have a crush too...', you say, thinking of Mousefur.
If you said you have a crush, Crimsonpaw asks who and you tell her (or say it's none of her business if you prefer that), otherwise she just said thank you for not making fun of her.Then, Berrystar interrupts you by calling a Clan meeting... to make you two warriors!'Crimsonpaw, from now on, you will be known as Crimsonsparkle! And Dewpaw, from now on, you will be known as Dewmoon!', he decides.'Crimsonsparkle! Dewmoon! Crimsonsparkle! Dewmoon!', the Clan yowls proudly.Who do you hear cheering loudest?
