Break The Reigns

This quiz is about a girl who finds out she has powers, this flips her world upside down, but being that tough exterior she pulls through and makes this experience hers forever.

  1. #baby you light up my world like nobody else...# your phone rang loudly shocking you from your sleep. You took a second to compose yourself before answering (if you didn't the person calling may have thought you were dying). "Hello?" "Hi, it's Macy. Do wanna hang out later?" "You bet, I'll come round at like 6 or something" "ok, laters!". You hung up the phone. Macy was your best friend for eternity, you never fought and you just couldn't move on without her (you once told her that and she called you the next Shakespeare). You got out of bed and stretched, though you had to sit back down again because you got one of those blackout thingies (it's been happening a lot lately). You finally got up and did your wake up routine; shower,brush your teeth,comb your hair, do your makeup and get dressed. You go to your wardrobe and pick out...
  2. You go downstairs wearing what you chose. The aroma of pancakes filled the entire house so you raced to the kitchen. You were just about to open the door when, OOF! You heard laughing and looked over to where the sofa was. Jack your brother and his bestfriend Adam were pretty much having asthma attacks on the sofa. "JACK! MOVE YOUR STUPID SKATEBOARD!" "It's a little late but okay!" You felt yourself blush as you got up. You knew Adam saw that and you were slightly embarrassed. You had the weensiest crush on him and no one but you knew it. You walked the into the kitchen, your dad was just plating up your pancakes. "Morning sweetheart" "morning dad". Tom wasn't your real dad, he adopted you and Jack when you were 2 because that's round about when your mom died. You were so little when it happened you don't remember your mom. They never found your real dad. You ate your pancakes, washed up and sat in the living room with Adam and Jack. You were listening to music on your phone whilst playing random games. You got bored and went for a walk.
  3. You skipped along to the music blasting from your headphones. All Time Low - I Feel Like Dancin' was playing. You danced your way to the park and sat on the swings. It was chilly out and you should have brought a jacket. It was only midday and it was getting really dark and cloudy. The faint breeze was now a full on gust of non-stop wind. It started to rain lightly. You got up to walk back but had another mini black out. You tried getting up again and it worked this time. You walked to the entrance of the park and exited the gates just as a rumble of thunder sparks of lightning danced across the sky, making the rain pelt down harder than before. You started running but gave up because in 5 minutes you were already soaked. Besides you might aswell make the most of the weather. You danced around street lamps and jumped in puddles. You turned around and an old lady was just laughing by the window. You did a graceful bow and she just clapped like you were the best performer ever. Rain flowed through the streets like little river lines. You took the shortcut through an alley. It was weirdly quiet now. Something was wrong, you heard a trash can fall behind you which made you jump, you turned to see nothing, your heart about to jump through your mouth. You quickened your pace and was almost through the alley. So close to the end. You were shoved against a wall, you screamed but no one was around. It was like a bad movie. "Get off!" You shouted out defensively. You tried to move but the person grip was too strong. "Where's the box!?" "What box" "I know you have it where is it?" "I don't have whatever it it you want!" You were getting really annoyed now because you didn't have a box and if you did you weren't just gonna give it up without a please, if you didn't want to do something, no amount of pressure was gonna make you. "You're not going to leave here without handing it over, one way or another." Just as you were about to counter back you felt a cold electric like pain go through you. It lodged itself in your side and was then dragged out. You were in too much pain and shock too scream or even tell the person too stop. You dropped to the floor and then felt the presence over you disappear, you were so confused until you turned around and then saw the guy that was holding you up getting the crabs punched out of him by another guy. You blacked out, but just before was completely sure you saw the bad guy break into black dust.
  4. You woke up in your bed. You don't remember getting into bed but then you remembered what happened. Almost as soon as you remembered your magical savior, you remembered getting stabbed, the thought of it making you grip the blanket. You checked your side and saw a bandage covering your side you fell out of bed in panic. You thought it was a dream. You started screaming and Jack rushed in, his brown hair over his face fresh from the shower. Then so did Adam and your dad and Macy and what looked like the guy from the alley. You screamed louder crying so much. "Shhh" Jack and Macy were trying to calm you down both of them hugging you. Your dad was having a quiet conversation with the new guy, whilst Adam looked at you with worrie etched into his face. "What happened?" You asked over a hoarse voice. "We'll explain when you get downstairs it makes more sense" your dad was as serious as ever and then everyone left the room except Macy. "I'm gonna help you through this whether you want me too or not" "why would I not want you to help me?" I was worried at why she thought I'd ask her to not help. "You'll see when you get downstairs". With that she left the room. You got up and brushed you hair and your teeth and then left the room. You made your way down the stairs and into the kitchen. Everyone was around the table, no one spoke. Your dad motioned for you to take a seat and you did in between him and Macy. Your dad spoke up, "you know all of us except Connor" he motioned to the guy from before who was stood up now by the counter. Connor had black hair in a bieber cut and grey eyes. He waved and you smiled whilst muttering a 'hello'. Your dad continued "you and Jack are going to stay with him and his friends for awhile.." You cut him short "where are you going to be?" "I'll be here with Macy sorting this mess out. Don't panic or anything but what I tell you next could make this arrangement permanent." Silence filled the room. You're palms were sweating and you were breathing really hard. You'd never ever in your entire life been away from your dad for more then 2 days. Him and Jack were all you had left so you were kind of cautious about leaving. "You know how you always get blackouts?" Your dad asked breaking the silence. "Yeah" "That's because you've got powers. At a certain age they start to work and that's the reason you can't stay here anymore, it just isn't safe, I guess proof of that is your little encounter in the alley earlier. Thank god Connor was out otherwise..." Your dad trailed away the thought making him cringe. It sank in that you wouldn't have Macy to do this with. You get what she meant when she said she'd help you whether you wanted her to or not. This meant she'd have too leave her family and friends just for your benefit but you realised protesting was going to get you nowhere. "When do we leave?" You asked in a whisper. "Tonight". That's it, your last night with your dad and best friend. "You should ummm go pack or something". You just nodded and walked out the kitchen. A sickly feeling washed over you,like you could throw up. Anxiety was slowly getting the better of you. Over thinking. One of your worst habits. You got into your room and just sat on your bed. You would've cried but what was the point? You had zoned off and forgot about packing. You got up started to shove various items (mostly clothes and shoes) into a large enough suitcase and dragged it downstairs, which was painful thanks to your stab wound. You still refuse to accept that actually happened. You got back downstairs and connor carried your luggage out front to his car. You forgot about Adam but found out he's going to help your dad and Macy. Everyone said their goodbyes, you and Macy cried a little, but overall your dad made the tears flow. He stroked your hair and kissed your forehead. He walked you too the car and you just got out an I love you before you got in the car. You drove away from the house and waved frantically with Jack. The rest of the car ride was silent. Until Connor put on the Radio, Second Go by LIGHTS was playing. You found it slightly ironic but it lightened the mood in the car so you went with it. You stared at the moon in the sky as you drove further from your house and then fell asleep.
