Most Americans have probably heard at some point in their life what they need to do in case of a tornado. If not, then they probably don't even live in an area affected by tornadoes on an annual basis. I live in the south, where we have been hit by tornadoes a lot in the recent years. A month ago we had a bad morning, where a few tornadoes touched down a county north of me. Around 7am the tornadoes were over, but we were still under a watch. I went on to class, seeing it was safe to do so. While waiting for a class to start at 11, the school sent out an email informing us students we were under a watch. I listened to half the class act surprised the weather was that bad, honestly not knowing. It amazed me that people, college students, could be so stupid.
