A Hogwarts love story: The philosophers stone(part 2)

This is part 2 of the philosopher's stone. I think it's going to have quite a few parts to it. Not really that sure how i could incorporate parts into the story for your person......so i need your help on that!

I think it's going good, but i would really like your opinion and ideas if you have any! I really, really need ideas at the moment especially if you have them-even if you don't think they're that good!

  1. You get off the train with Ron and Harry and just stand on the platform until a big tall man with a long curly beard and long curly hair was calling all first years. Harry greeted him as Hagrid. Once all the first years had gathered you all got on some small boats and sailed towards the castle. What do you think of the school so far?
  2. You get off the boats and you all walk up the stairs to the entrance of the main hall. An old lady dresses in green with a pointy hat is at the top of the stairs; you expect that she is a teacher. You stand next to Ron and Harry as they are they only people you really know. "Welcome to Hogwarts." she started off, "Now in a few moments you will pass through these doors and meet your classmates. But before you can take your seats you must be sorted into your houses." You, Ron and Harry look at each other. What are you thinking?
  3. She tells you the houses; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. She then explains about earning and losing points for you house. Halfway through telling everyone about the house cup, a boy shouted "Trevor!" and ran forward to pick up a frog. He must have been that boy Neville who lost his frog on the train. He apologised and went back to where he was standing. What do you think of this boy Neville?
  4. She then said "The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." and went into the hall. Once she left the boy with really blonde hair you bumped into on the train said "It's true then, what their saying on the train, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts." Everyone around you started mumbling about Harry. He then introduced his friends Crabbe and Goyle and came up to Harry and said "and i'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." Ron snickered at his name and Draco insulted him, by looking at his appearance and saying that he must be a Weasley because of it. First impressions of Draco?
  5. He continued talking to Harry "You'll find out soon, Potter, that some wizarding families are better than others." Draco then glared at Ron. "I can help you there." He finished off and held out his hand to Harry. Harry denied his friendship and then the old teacher came back and took you all into the hall for the housing ceremony. The doors opened and you saw lots and lots of older students, floating candles and the ceiling which looked like a night sky. You heard Hermione behind you say "It's not real the ceiling, it's bewitched to look like the night sky. I read about it in Hogwarts: A history." What do you think so far?
  6. Everyone is watching all the first years. The teacher then tells you to stop along the steps in front of a stool with a pointy hat, almost the same as the teachers, sitting on the stool. Before you get sorted into your houses Professor Dumbledore had some words to say "Now a few start of term notices i wish to announce, first years note that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students, also our care-taker Mr Filch." Dumbledore gestured towards Mr Filch who is a grumpy looking man with straight hair only growing out the sides of his head; and at his feet there is a fluffy cat. "has asked me to remind you that the third floor corridor on the right hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a most painful death. Thank you" He finished. What do you think of Dumbledore?
  7. The old teacher then said " Now when i call your name, you will come forth, i will place the sorting hat on your head and be sorted into your houses." The first name to be called was Hermione's. Ron whispered to you and Harry "Mental, that one i'm telling ya." You couldn't help but agree, she was after all whispering to herself as she went to the stool. The hat got placed on her head and started speaking, eventually she got sorted into Gryffindor.
  8. It was Draco next he was put in Slytherin. Ron told you that there hasn't been a witch or wizard that hasn't got bad that's been in Slytherin. A ginger haired girl went next called Susan Bones, she wasn't related to Ron, Susan got put in Hufflepuff. Ron got put in the same house as his brothers-Gryffindor. Harry went next and the sorting hat was unsure what house to put him in, Harry didn't want to go in Slytherin so in the end the sorting hat took into consideration what Harry wanted and put him in Gryffindor. What house do you want to be put in?
  9. You're next, you get put in Gryffindor along with your new friends. You went and sat next to Harry whilst the others got sorted. Once everyone had their house the feast began. Big plates with lots of different kinds of food magically appeared on the table. You had never seen a feast so huge! Everyone immediately tucked in. Harry asked Percy, who was one of Ron's brothers, who that teacher talking to professor Quirrell was. Percy said that it was professor Snape, head of Slytherin and that he teachers potions but he wants to teach about the dark arts, apparently he's been after Quirrells job for years. You find out that Professor Quirrell is a man wearing a purple turban and Snape is a man with black hair and black robes next to him. What do you think of Snape and Quirrell?
  10. Ron picked up a piece of chicken from a tray in front of you, when suddenly a ghost popped out! Because you were scared you grabbed Harry's hand; you looked at each other and you pulled away after a while and slightly blushed. Percy greeted the ghost as Sir Nicholas but Ron called him nearly headless Nick because his head hasn't entirely fallen off; but he prefers to be called Sir Nicholas. Once he flew out of the food a few more ghosts came into the hall but you weren't scared anymore. You chat with Hermione, Ron, Harry and a little bit to Percy. You also met Fred and George, Ron's twin brothers, they were the twins you saw at the station. Once you finished dinner you and the rest of the first year Gryffindor's followed Percy, who is also a prefect, to the Gryffindor common room. He told everyone to be careful of the staircases because they like to change, above you you see the stairs starting to change; around you there are portraits but they are moving and some of them are talking to you. Your thoughts?
  11. You reach the top of the staircase and in front of you is a Portrait of a fat lady. Percy approaches the lady and says "Caput Draconis" and the portrait moves forward to reveal a hidden entrance-The Gryffindor common room. The common room is beautifully decorated and looks somewhat posh. It has red wallpaper, a red sofa and a big fireplace as well as other things. Percy told you where the girls and boys dormitories are and that our belongings are already there. You head up to the girls dormitory but before you go you say goodnight to Harry and Ron; they gave the biggest smiles ever and said the same back. Once in the dormitory you realized that the only girl you sort of know is Hermione, whether you like her or not, you might as well be in a bed that's close to hers because at least you know her a bit. You and Hermione talk for a bit and you get to know each other and some other girls. That is your first night at Hogwarts. What do you think of the guys so far?
