I just found out that my best friend is lying about something very serious. I don't know whether to confront her or ignore it. Please help! Thank you!

  2. Ok. I have this friend. Her name is Kylie. We didn't used to be friends but two years ago we got the two major female roles in a play together and we bonded over practice.
  3. The play was a romance. She got the to play the girl in love with the guy, and I got to be her crazy/caring best friend. I had a crush on the guy who got to play her boyfriend though. She started helping me get him to like me.
  4. But she kept going through weird mood swings. One day she wanted to help me, the next she said he didn't like me like that.
  5. Things started getting weird, and Kylie and my crush, Clay, started to hang out a lot. I only had a small school girl crush on Him. He is 18 and we are 13.
  6. My other close friend, Brit, stole Kylie's phone and went through her texts. She told me that Klyie and Clay have been texting for months. This was last year. Well, I would never let a guy get in the way of friends, so I said whatever and ignored it. This was last year.
  7. This year I noticed that Kylie has been ignoring me. I decided to ask her about it. She told me this whole story about how he was texting her inappropriatly and trying to kiss her and all of that. Well, at first , I believed it. But then I started thinking. I've known this guy forever and he would never do that. Plus, she said her dad dealt with it. But the next day she had pictures of her and Clay and facebook. She had gone over to his house. Her dad is really strict, And would never let her do that.
  8. I don't like Clay anymore (I got over that) but why did Kylie lie to me? And if we were really friends, wouldn't she have told me? I still liked him when this supposedly started. I know she likes to be the center of attention, but this is pushing it to far.
  9. She could get him in trouble spreading lies like that! I know she is known to lie (I've caught her in small lies) but I didn't think she'd go that far!
  10. My parents don't approve of her, and now I'm mad at her. Should I confront her, or ignore it?
