The end of the year has come. We end off with a closing ceremony and a heart-wrenching good-bye to one of the guys. He'll be missed dearly by a lot of you. At least, you have a good summer to look forward to! The year is going to end off great!

  1. After an eventful evening, you were happy to wake up to the new morning. You turned your body to the edge of your bed, pulling yourself to sit right side up. When you got to the foot of the bed, a familiar face had just enter the room. Ambrosia. She stood there with her silky brown hair that touched the point of her elbows
  2. The both of you said nothing, it was one competitive staring contest and the odds of knowing who the winner were slim to none. You didn't want to waste your morning by staring at that backstabbing friend, you took a deep breath and walked by Ambrosia. "Excuse me" You muttered as you tried to squeeze between Ambrosia and the door frame.
  3. Finally, escaping the tension of being in the same room with Ambrosia, you could finally get on with your morning. You straighten up and headed off to the Great Hall for the closing ceremony. You braced yourself for what will lie ahead, as you were walking down the halls; you saw Oliver and his friends at the end of the halls but something seemed off with Oliver but different than usual. "Don't let what he said get to you man! I told you falling for her was a bad idea!" "Honestly, Robbie! Can you be any more of an idiot? It's not about that! It's about what she's went though that bugs him the most!" Oliver's friends were pretty rattled up, but what the one named Robbie said, really got you thinking.
  4. You waited for them to past by, so you can follow them and also listen to what they were saying. "BUT, if he didn't fall for that 3rd year, he wouldn't be in this slump. C'mon buddy! Think about Puddlemere! You and Me got chosen for first string!" Robbie snapped at the other friend then later switching to face Oliver to console him. "None of that matters now..." Oliver said as he pushed his friends aside an sped up. Halted, where you stood, you took a deep breath. "Eavesdropping again?" a voice from behind said. You jumped and turned to see the reason behind it. It was Draco. You still haven't forgotten last night, you nodded your head and gave an awkward smile. "You really need to stop doing that..." You muttered to Draco which seemed almost inaudible. He sensed it too; that things between you were still not resolved, you stared into his grey eyes and by the way he was looking at you, you felt as if his eyes had told you "You need your space. So, I'll see you next year." It pained you that he would even think that, he gave you a small wave and walked past you. "If it means anything" He yelled out as he continued to walk, he stopped after 6-8 steps to pivot his body to turn and face you "Oliver. He's back to normal" He said giving a smirk.
  5. Your eyes widen to Draco's departing words. You were confused, you didn't know what to do. You thought about what Oliver's friends had to say, the reason he was depressed was because someone told him what happened while intoxicated with a love potion. The better question, who? You wanted to chase after Draco but it felt wrong because the only reason you were going to talk to him was to thank him for fixing Oliver. After that, you'd probably run off to find Oliver. You decided to deal with that after the closing ceremony. You continued to head to the Great Hall without any further distractions. Once arriving, you found the Great Hall packed with students from the four houses. Your eyes met Professor Dumbledore's who were rather cheerful after last nights accomplishments. You returned the expression by giving him a warm smile. "________!" A voice from the Gryffindor table yelled out, you swiftly turned your head to see if it was Oliver. However, it wasn't. It was Harry, in front of him sat Hermione and to his left Ron. He gestured you to come sit with them, even if it wasn't your house (Yes, you're either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. Let's just leave the discussion to that) You were happy nonetheless to sit with them. You walked over, greeting them with warm cheerful smiles. "Morning!" You said with glee, Ron and Harry looked at each other and laughed "Someone is cheerful today. I would have thought, you, to be exhausted after those wolf cries." Harry teased you of last nights actions.
  6. You scoffed and hit Harry's arm. "You're one to talk!" It was a great feeling to have a day where you could just joke around and laugh, Hermione asked you to seize talking about this subject because it was confidential and no one is to know the whereabouts of Sirius. The uplifting aura went on for about 2-5 minutes till Professor McGonagall requested for everyone's attention. Professor Dumbledore's was now standing at the owl podium observing the faces of everyone. "This year has been a journey of many inconsistent emotions as well as a series of unfortunate events. However, this is Hogwarts and as you well know that even the most absurd events that has taken place, become another chapter for the most adventured spirits" Dumbledore started off and eyes the four of you, as he stated that.
  7. "I am pleased to also note that the Dementors will no longer be residential at Hogwarts, no, it appears that once managing to contain the notorious Sirius Black, he managed to escape once more. Pity." Dumbledore said but being very obvious by showing he doesn't feel sorry for the Dementors. "You can rest assure that Hogwarts will once again be your second home, to keep you safe & grow during your time here. As we end off this year and award the house cup, I'd like to end off with this. Whatever lies ahead for us in the years to come, good or bad, you all at Hogwarts have nothing to fear. Fear of the name only to increase fear of the thing itself. Even if one should face matters alone, you will always find help here in the darkest of time; help like happiness, can be found in the darkest of times. If one remembers to turn on the light" Dumbledore ended off with great wisdom that touched your heart and something that was worth keeping in the future. "Now, onto the house cup! With 3,793 points-"
  8. After the distribution of ranks to see who had won the house cup, (Gryffindor, of course. Break the rules ? 15,000 points to Gryffindor) you all went back to your common rooms to obtain your luggages and place them with the rest, so they can be stored in the train. You were walking with someone in the same house as you, who was very friendly. When you walked out into the courtyard, you saw Oliver walking towards you but became hesitant the closer he came. You surprisingly brought a smile to your face, but it pained him for he walked straight past you and joined his friends. You looked back to see Oliver surrounded by his friends, the person you were walking with placed their hand on your shoulder and suggested that it was best if you boarded the train now. "You're right. Let's go" you sighed
  9. You boarded the train and found an empty compartment all to yourself, you had a moment to reflect on all that's happen this year. It was a journey right from the start. From falling into Oliver's arms, being the test subject for the Weasley Twins, getting to know Draco better, finding a best friend in Neville, constantly fighting with Ron & finally joining alongside Harry to free the prisoner of Azkaban. The time indeed flew by, in two months you'll be in your Fourth Year in Hogwarts. There will be some massive changes, to start off "________, is it alright if I join you?" Oliver asked as he leaned against the door frame
  10. You turned to face him, he changed into his casual attire and his light brown hair was attractively messy than the usual tamed look. His eyes seemed off though, they were bloodshot red. You still felt a little awkward talking to him after all that's happen but you nodded your head. He took a deep breath and sat down. He rubbed the palms of his hands while looking out the window. "I-I don't know where to start...Draco told me what happened, he explained what you've went through because of what I-I did to you..." he stuttered. Your heart was beating as fast as hummingbirds wings; you were breathing heavily & continued to stare at Oliver. "I-I couldn't talk to you after the closing ceremony because, I thought you've had enough of me ... but when I saw you smile at me..." Oliver seemed like he was going to cry, you were petrified, if he was going to cry , how could you comfort him if your smile pains him?
  11. You leaned in closer, you didn't know what to say, but in any case the best thing to do is just to be there for him. You placed your right hand on top of his, which was curled up into a fist and resting on top if his thigh. He flinched and made eye contact with you, you did miss staring into those brown eyes but all you could see is sorrow and despair. You didn't want to say anything, a "it's fine" or "don't worry about it" would probably hurt him more. He manage to fight through the pain and talk "When you smiled at me, I-I was completely shock you can even look at me like that. After all, I did, you can still look at me as if none of it has ever happened. I don't deserve your kindness, or you for that matter." His words pierced your heart, you wanted to cry but you couldn't bring yourself to it.
  12. You pulled your hand back and let your back rest against the chair. "Oliver...what you said, did hurt me. A lot." "I know, I'm -" " But that wasn't the real you. I knew you were tricked into taking a love potion, a strong one too, but after getting to know you, I know you would never say those things to me. You care about me so much, I doubt you would ever want to hurt me." You reassured Oliver who seemed to seize tearing up "but you are right about one thing. We can't be together."
  13. He forced himself to laugh. He laid back in his seat and watched as trees past by & the clouds chasing the train "Because this is my final year & you're scared that this may happen again, because it wo-" " It's not that. " You cut him off, you took a deep sigh before explaining yourself "I saw you earlier with your friends, ones named was Robbie? He talked about you and him on the Quidditch team for Puddlemere and congratulations by the way! But, because of what you've found out from Draco. You didn't care about Quidditch anymore, and you LOVE Quidditch. It's your future career and everything. I don't want to be the reason to hold you back" He settled down completely to what you had to say, he sighed as well and looked into your eyes. "You know you won't, right?" "If something were to happen to me, you'd abandon everything just to come running to me. Every girl dreams of a prince charming and maybe, you are mine. But, as much as I dream of that as well, I'd like to face reality. You got your goals and I have mine. You wouldn't want to hold me back or drop anything for you. The feeling is mutual." You said, this was getting harder and harder but it was the type of closure that you both needed.
  14. "I can see where you're coming from. I guess that's true. However, if you do like someone else then I guess I'm okay with it. At this point, we broke up anyways." He said with an obvious tone of depression "I guess I didn't tell Draco what happened.." "What do you mean?" You sighed. If there was ever a time where you needed a bloody boost of confidence, today would be that day. "Before I knew you took the love potion, I've confessed that I felt something between us and that I truly really do like you. The way you like me" THAT, indeed brought up Oliver's mood "However, you replied that you don't and you only have feeling for Ambrosia." Instantly his mood went down, you gave a small laugh because it was quite a sight. "So, what are you trying to say?" You gave him a smile and leaned in closer "Even though you've "rejected" me" You said adding air quotes "Doesn't mean that I never stopped liking you. Even thought we can't be together for our own good, it'll stink but I still have feelings for you." "You have no idea, how much you've made my day" "There's a saying; if you love someone set them free, if they love you, they'll come back somehow." He laughed and gave you a smile, he looked at his watched that he had around his wrist "Oh, I was only suppose to be here for 20 minutes. Robbie is going to freak" He said, shooting right out of his seat "Better not keep him waiting!" You teased, he was already out of the cart and zoomed out of sight. You took your eyes away from the door and smiled, but then when you looked back he returned and leaned against the door frame.
  15. "You forget something?" You asked as you sat comfortably in your seat and smiled. He gave a laugh and backed away from the door while covering his face with his hands. His hands were in a formal prayer gesture, resting on his lips. "God, I'm just going to miss you so much." He laughed, you instantly blushed & smiled "Go to Robbie!" You yelled, he turned into the direction he zoomed off in, he looked down to the floor with his hands in his pockets and back up at you. He gave one more smile before opening his mouth

  17. You blushed incredibly hard to what he said, you couldn't help but to smile. So much for closure. With that, Oliver sped off to go see his friends, you were left alone in your cart reliving that moment in your head where Oliver said for the first time ever "I love you" It was the cherry on top of a perfect way to end the semester. Thirty minutes passed and you arrived in London, you've bid your farewells to the trio, the twins, Neville and managed to get a small smile and wave from Draco; when it came to Oliver, it seemed like he had been waiting for this moment all his life. "Even if we're no longer together as a couple, you wouldn't mind spending the summer break with me?" He asked while giving a sly smile "Interesting proposition Wood, why don't...you write to me over the summer and we can work things out." You said as you wrote your address on a piece of paper and gave it to Oliver. He smiled and agreed, he gave you a giant hug, that later had a consequence when his parents were teasing him about it.
  18. When everyone left and rejoice with their parents, you went in search for the carriage that had your luggage. With 1/4 of the train left to search, you were joined by Ambrosia. Disgusted by her presence, you tried to carry on with you intentions. "I've been thinking a lot of what you said" She started off "I know that what I did was wrong but, listen, Jealousy took over me when I saw you with Oliver. I has a crush on him since year 1 and to think" At this point, you wanted to find your bags as fast as you can and get off the train, rather than being here with Ambrosia and listening to her story. "When you told me, that he'll never really like me, the way he likes you. I gave up." you wanted to laugh, you knew she didn't give up, Draco forced the antidote down Oliver's throat before she could say anything, you were grateful you found your bag and turned to head to the exit "Look, I just wanted to say I'm sorry." You disregard her apology and took your bags off the train. You stare at her as you disregard her comment and jumped off the train. She also hopped off the train, you stared at her and she gave you an awkward smile "well, my parents are waiting for me..." she said, still disregarding what she has to say; you watched as she walked over to her parents. Something you didn't expect caught you off guard. Your fingers became numb thus making you drop your luggages. You legs felt as if they were gelatin. You were used to surprises but this one had to beat out all odds "Dad?" (To refresh your memory, read pt 7.3 question; 13)
  19. And with that, we end off the first chapter of Hogwarts Love Story! To think, I was actually able to finish a chapter of this series is a great accomplishment. I couldn't have done it without all of you! I am sorry for all of you non-Oliver die hard fanatics that, the ending is Oliver biased but it's time to bid him good-bye. With that being said, you will start off the beginning of Year 4 with him but he will only make brief cameo appearances every now and then. I will admit, this would be one of the best editions I've written. Simply because it came to easy to me and while I was writing it, it became so realistic. I imagined the actual voices during the conversations and the visualization was very easy for me, so I'm pleased. It also had a fun feature with he extra writing of the speech as well as the scene on the train. It was quite enjoyable. I wrote this before writing pt 9.2, because the ending was already in my head and I needed to work on it and create the perfect story line. Please note, this is the first draft. I did not edit out parts or added extras, I simply thought about it and wrote. I have such a vivid imagination. I know, this farewell paragraph is wordy but, this is the end off to a new year. Thank you to all those who've been there with me since the start of the series up to this point; I can truly see a huge growth when I've first started out. Well, I'm truly grateful as you all know. I would love to hear your feedback and thoughts on the ending. I love you all and I hope you all stay magical and tune in for the sophomore introduction chapter of Hogwarts Love Story Pt 11 {A New Year} Toodles x
