In all honesty, this is my opinion so if you are a snowflake and get offended easily I suggest you scroll away. How I see an "emo poser" is someone who has the depressed Bart Simpson as their social media profile pic and/or they use the dead rose and black heart emoji. And they listen to "emo rap" and that depressing sad-boy edgy music. I see them as wearing a black hoodie, excessive black eyeshadow, and black nail polish and they are always like "Im 14 and this is deep" and "I hate my parents" blah blah blah just because they think thats "emo". You dont have to be depressed, wear all black, or cut yourself to be emo. Emo is a very expressive subculture and you can dress however you like and listen to whatever music you want. Stop trying to be like everyone else.

wow, no offense, but this sucked. You don't know ANYTHING about "emos". I'm emo but I don't go around saying it. These choices sucked. Its actually pretty offensive. "It makes me cut my wrists more." Wtf? Ummmm... yea, it sucked.

I don’t really consider myself “emo” but I just don’t want to look like a “poser” to the emo community......I just like emo bands and dressing in black.....
