I come from a brethren assembly. Romans 8:26- 'Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us withgroaning which cannot be uttered.' (NKJV) This verse is saying that we do not need anymore to go to a priest like before Jesus died. Heb. 4:14-16 also says that when Jesus died on the cross for our sins, we could not approach God except through a priest. But now, the Holy Spirit calls us to come confidently before God to recieve salvation through Christ alone. (See also John 14:6.)
