  • Completely wrong... first it said i was from the northeast, then when i looked over it again and corrected one of my answers, it said i was probably from the midlands. I'm from Seattle!

  • Uhhhhh... the last time anyone in my family was in the approximate Midland North was in the early 1700s when they landed. They kept moving until they hit the west coast.

  • This quiz said that I am from the Inland North. In fact I am from western Massachusetts. Our accent is not even close to a Boston one...and we call carbonated soft drinks soda!

  • Says I'm from Philly; I'm from NC. Never talked like my parents; neither did my older sister. We both always had less of a Southern accent for some reason.

  • I am from the northern New Jersey what once used to be farm country so I do not sound like a Philadelphian. I live in Georgia and have for many years. So you off the mark on me.

  • You said North Central - I am from New England - have lived in 4 of 6 New England States as well as Texas and North Carolina so guess I have smoothed out a little.

  • Wasn't even close for me. Said I was "Inland North" and I'm from California. Also, I have never used "pop" for a soft drink. In fact, I never say "soda" either.

  • Accurate for me. It guessed Inland North and I grew up near the Great Lakes. Yup, I call it pop. My cousin Dawn and my cousin Don absolutely don't share one name.

  • Quiz said I was from the South. Exactly right.

American by birth, Southern by the grace of God.

Southern born, Southern bred, and when I die, I'll be

    Southern dead

  • It said people would mistake me for a Canadian a lot. I am a Canadian. Seems pretty accurate. However, they could just be basing that solely on the "about" question...

  • The quiz was totally off the mark for me. I'm from Northeastern PA, and it said that I was from the West and had no real accent. All my friends acknowledge that I do have an accent

  • The quiz is right! it said I have a minnesotan accent and I am from minnesota and i live in Minnesota. When I was younger I moved to a different state and the kids in my class thought I talked funny, but I thought they did.

  • Considering that I am from the Southwestern US and the quiz said I had a Boston accent, I'd venture to say that the quiz needs some refining.

  • Wow...not bad. I do have a Wisconsin-y accent. Although I wasn't born there, never lived there and in fact lived in a dozen different places.

Maybe that's why people find my accent so hard to place...

  • "You have a Midland accent"

is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri)

***right. im from Highspire Pennsylvania. amasing!!***
