Kind of curious.

A lot of people I know listen to all the halo OSTs. Zelda and Minecraft also have super iconic music and I'd be lying if I said pigstep isn't in my road trip playlist because it is a banger.
Fallout probably has my favorite ost because it's so iconic.
I also specifically love all earthbound and Castlevania's OSTs as well as pacman world II. Terraria is always fun and relaxing as well.
I have animal crossing music on in the background sometimes when I have company over and I like to sneak in Clay K Slider covers in every so often because I just think it's SO funny to watch them come to the realization that they're listening to an animal crossing cover of Mr Brightside or Pumped Up Kicked.
These aren't OST's but some sundtracks that really shaped me as a kid would probably include Thrillville, any and all NFS soundtracks, and MX unleashed. -
They can be either songs, or the general soundtrack itself. Either works.
10. Flying Battery Zone and Stardust Speedway act 2- Sonic Mania. Hearing both of these beautiful recompositions by the amazing Tee Lopes brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard them.
9. Fight On- Final Fantasy VII. An invigorating rush. One of the many boss fight themes I can always remember and greatly recomposed for the remake.
8. Super Gore Nest- Doom Eternal. A perfect composition by Mick Gordon to slay the armies of Hell to. Beaten only by two..
7. Main menu- Doom Eternal. A taste of what the game has to offer, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
6. His World- Sonic 2006. The game may have been a buggy mess, but the music was absolute fire. A perfect balance of hype and eagerness.
5. K.K. Lovers, K.K. Rider, K.K. Disco, and K.K. Bashment.- Animal Crossing New Horizons. In order of the songs, Lovers is relaxing, Rider is nostalgic, Disco is fun to watch your villagers sing to, and Bashment is a great song to vibe to while you work on your home, or an area on your island.
4. Heat Haze Shadow parts 1 & 2- Tekken 7, and Moonlit Wilderness- Tekken 5. Heat Haze Shadow is a phenomenal theme, especially part two, where the stakes feel high and it's do or die. Moonlit Wilderness feels like you're about to face a great threat, especially with the beginning vocals. Both are fantastic.
3. The Only Thing They Fear is You- Doom Eternal. Hype. Anger. Desire to obliterate. They used a CHAINSAW for the 'guitar', and it may have been the best decision ever. Good for working out to, as well.
2. One-Winged Angel: FFVII. Harrowing theme for such an amazing character. Nothing can top the feeling of utter hopelessness I felt when fighting him the very first time.
1. A three-way tie. All final boss themes.
- Gwyn, Lord of Cinder- Dark Souls.
- The entire Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance soundtrack.
- Soul of Cinder- Dark Souls 3.
It was extremely hard to rank them, so I put them all in first. Gwyn's boss theme. Woo boy. Tugging at my heart strings, the piano is definitely the factor. MGR:R's O.S.T., I can't choose a favourite. All of them are great, especially The Stains of Time, Rules of Nature, I'm My Own Master Now, It Has to be this Way, A Stranger I Remain, and The Only Thing I Know for Real. Truly great. Soul of Cinder. What can I say? It's a swansong of the Dark Souls series, especially during his second phase where (Spoiler), his attacks are massively similar to Gwyn's, not to mention his theme is played, backed with a wondrous violin.
