Ya exactly unless you have to go raid for supplies you stay in and keep quiet. The whole movie is weird like that, the zombies aren't slow but it's still a comedy. You'd figure a zombie comedy would be like Shaun of the Dead not like a mix between it and dawn of the dead sort of, lol.

Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Edgar Wright kick ass! Did you like Hot Fuzz too? I thought it was almost as good and would have been better if it just had zombies too.
