Amethyst was kinda the most thoughtful gem. She didn't usually push her problems on him and when she did it made sense because not only is she the youngest of the big 3 gems but also she was never taught about her feelings and so she dealt with it okay herself. Steven had to fix up pearls trauma and Garnet lets herself pile everything up until Steven finds out what's up

The entire finale was rushed but especially the sunstone reveal. We barely got to see sunstone

Amethyst is my favorite. I can relate to her most. She would try to just be herself, but she was often reject even by Garnet and Pearl. Amethyst has been through so much, and she's overlooked as a character, hero, and role model.

So true, even other fans of the show tend to overlook amethyst for being silly but she's not just silly. Even in the movie her biggest thing is being there for the people she cares about and having fun

Amethyst out of context is funny yet somehow also disturbing. Like I love her but she ain't ma favourite (peridot is), yet I think one of her only solo songs that I remember is about her singing about all of her mistakes piling up and falling down, like this sh-- is a really good song but is gonna make me cry
