Well... my doctors appointment thingy...did not go too well.
They plan to start treatment as soon as possible, which means I might have trouble getting on so often, but I'm sure I'll manage.
It's not a surprise, I guess. What with so much of my family passing from cancer, it was to be expected.
But I won't let it get to me the way it did to them... they all gave up. I won't. I refuse to give up!

And they have the nerve to say I'm "lucky" that they caught it so fast.
I might be better off than most people, but I'm still not lucky... -

It is odd to think of oneself as picky in any situation like this.
I am still really bummed that when I start chemo I'm going to lose all my hair. -

You're lucky you caught it early-on...
But you're still far from lucky.
I deeply feel sorry for you. I've never experienced cancer my-self, but I've had a few family members die of it. Along with neighbors. And a friend's friend...
