Pain with flat feet

Alright so I'm pretty much 16 years old and I've been having some foot pain in the arches of my feet. Both my younger brother and father have flst feet, my brother even has flexible flat feet, and he kinda walks with one of his feet off center but neither my brother or father have had any pain. but I on the other hand do and its hard to walk long distances without my feet hurting. Running is sometimes painful for me to because when I go to start and lung forward I feel like I'm pulling something in my feet which causes a sharp pain. Anyone know what I can do to make my feet more comfy? :(

I have flat feet too. I use orthotics (not sure if that's how you spell it) and they make the world of difference :) When I was 5 years old both of my feet faced heaps inwards so I had orthotics specially made for my feet....now I just wear of the shelf orthotics.
Also, orthotics fix your feet..they don't just relieve the pain :)
