Ronan acknowledged her with a reluctant nod, averting his gaze off to the castle just a few blocks down. It seemed foreign the king would wish to speak to him upfront, though Ronan remained curious nonetheless.
“Well… thank you, m’lady,” he finally answered, careful to ensure his tone was civil and respectful. “I appreciate you. I’ll be there as soon as I can,” -
The maid nodded and bowed a little to Ronan, turning an walking off to go back to her royal duties.
